Meet Thao Le, DDS, MMSc
Dr. Le attended the University of California Berkeley, graduating with a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York and subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at the West Los Angeles Veteran Administration.
Upon completion of his General Practice Residency, he pursued a three-year specialty training in Endodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Le has served as the clinical instructor preparing students for their national licensing dental board exam in Endodontics while at Harvard. Upon completing his Endodontic residency and his Masters in Medical Sciences, the faculty at Harvard awarded him with the prestigious Henry Shaw Award for his research given to only one post-graduate student. Dr. Le has lectured internationally and nationally for his research.
Dr. Le subsequently was accepted into a highly coveted two-year implant fellowship at Harvard and was awarded the American Association of Implant Dentistry for Outstanding Graduate Student. He is only a handful of specialists who hold both certificates of Endodontics and Implantology in the country, the first from Harvard.
Dr. Le is a Board Eligible specialist member of the American Association of Endodontist, a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, International Team of Implantology, and Academy of Osseointegration. His charitable work includes clinical outreach locally and in Vietnam. Dr. Le has serve on the Board of Directors, New Dentist Committee chair and is on the current executive board as Secretary of the San Joaquin Dental Society.
