Dr. Matthew R. Stefanac - Endodontics | Stockton, CAMatthew R. Stefanac, D.D.S.

Dr. Matthew R. Stefanac was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.  He is a graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Detroit Dental School.  After graduating with his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery), Dr. Stefanac served 3 years in the Air Force, one year of which was an intensive General Residency program at Travis Air Force Base in California.  He received his Endodontic training at the State University of N.Y., Buffalo.

Dr. Stefanac is a past president of the San Joaquin Dental Society and has held several chairmanship positions.  He is an active volunteer in his community, he most recently chaired the Fluoride program.  As an active volunteer in his community he has done classroom presentations in local schools and volunteered at dental screenings throughout the City of Stockton.  He has served as a delegate to the Monterey State Dental Advisory Board, California Dental Association and been on the Board of TDIC.  This year he joins the Board of the Northern California Academy of Endodontics and will assume the presidency of that organization in 2 years.

Dr. Stefanac is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE) the California Association Society of Endodontists (CASE), The American Dental Association (ADA), The Northern California Academy of Endodontics, (NCAE) and the San Joaquin Dental Society.

Dr. Stefanac’s leisure time activities include flying (being a pilot), tennis, biking, reading, backpacking, skiing and being a brand new Grandfather.
